For many years now Andy bell with Steve Dolly and others have been forging links with churches in Liberia, seeking to not only to support communities financially, with building projects and other means to provide schooling and sustainable employment for the local people, but also with a passion to see God move according to His word in healings miracles and with great power.

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour… today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing" (Lk 4:16-21)

They believe these verses are for all believers, so everyone they meet is encouraged not only to receive salvation, healing and ministry, but that they too can pray and minister to others with the same power according to God's word.

They are seeing many people being healed and delivered as the community welcomes God moving in their lives.

Here are a series of updates relating to the mission in Liberia.

We're off on our 7th trip to Liberia at the end of March and, of course, I am on the scrounge for stuff for them again.

Hopefully the attached will also be of interest in explaining their current situation, as well as the list of practical things they are looking for. I also left 20 printed copies of this on the welcome desk, if you’d prefer to read it that way.

Many of you have been so generous over the years - and thank you very much for that. If you can help in any way this time, I know they will all be so grateful

I would also greatly value your prayers, whenever you are reminded. As usual – that His kingdom would come so much more than we’ve yet see, and we would get more experience of how Jesus’ gospel can impact a town and a nation.

With love and thanks

Andy and Steve (Dolley) are encouraged!

They have had some very good times of sharing with the leaders and others in one of the churches out there, encouraging them in both establishing ‘growth groups’ (studying Scripture together and implementing it) and in expectantly reaching to God for the supernatural in their outreach encounters (as well as in ministering to each other).

They had been out in the community again, reconnecting with some folk they had previously met (and praying again for one particular person with a degenerative illness – saw a little improvement, though not yet the big breakthrough there that is needed, and unfortunately they probably won’t have another opportunity to pray for them this time) and meeting new people.

They were very happy to see several healings, though, praise God! (sorry this time I don’t have all the details to relate – though I know that Steve saw a leg grow!). Tomorrow (Tuesday) they are going in to one of the schools to get them using the growth group idea!

There is more teaching (mostly Steve) and outreach to come, which they are relishing.

Your continuing prayers for wisdom and sensitivity to the Spirit in communicating well with the leaders, and for great fruit for the Kingdom (both outside the churches and within) will be very much appreciated – also for good health.

Thank you so much for all your generosity and support!

Much love,

A note from Andy Bell:

We had another successful trip to Liberia and, as usual, it was wonderful. It is a busy time catching up with all our friends, doing outreach in the increasing number of communities we try to help serve, as well as new areas, distributing the gifts many of you have provided, meeting the increasing number of children receiving support from the UK, experiencing their financial struggles close-up, but really enjoying what God has been, did and will continue to do there.

Many of you have been so generous over the years - and they are all so appreciative of this. thank you so much for the care that you show them - it brings them more encouragement than you may know...

All the best!
